9 P.M. Launch of the 2022 Political School Fanzine
Our POLITICAL SCHOOL FOR ARTISTS (AND ALL THOSE INTERESTED) saw its sixth generation of participants this year. The final event at the end of this two-month educational program features a short performance by the Theatre of the Oppressed, led by Josipa Lulić, and launch of the Fanzine, designed and prepared entirely by the participants. The final event also serves as an opportunity for gathering of all previous generations of participants, lecturers, and all those interested.
“This year's Fanzine was created through conversations led at Nova Baza and Whatsapp surveys on art techniques, being the only logical outcome of editorial meetings held after the protests. Contributions are themed around labor and artists' organizing, and the central part of the Fanzine consists of five group collages – excellent corpses – created in the spirit of celebrating spontaneous exchange between participants. The pandemic, the war, or serious attacks on reproductive, workers', and civil rights cannot take away from us what we have built together – solidarity and community.''
