HANDS FULL OF CLOUDS: AUDIO REPORTAGES

In October and November 2022 we held creative workshops in three high school dormitories in Zagreb, in which we brought closer three literary works to high school students. At the Dora Pejačević dormitory we read the play “Hands full of Clouds” by Lejla Kalamujić, at the Technical School Zagreb dormitory we read the novel “Youth without God” by Odon von Horvath, and at the Novi Zagreb dormitory we analyzed the short story “The Pavilion”by Viktor Ivančić, from his collection of short stories “Workers and Peasants”. We held four workshops in each of the dormitories, having a participatory and interdisciplinary approach to the works: the workshops included a joint reading, a discussion, a visual interpretation of the works, a conversation with the authors or actors, and an analysis of the texts using digital and audio tools. The texts were seleceted by Germanist and Croatist Ivana Perica, who also led workshops on critical analysis of the texts. Designers Nina Bačun and Roberta Bratović from the OAZA collective led artistic workshops, and radiophonist Ljubica Letinić was in charge of creating and mentoring sound editing workshops.
